Everyone Has A Cause

Dear Gabriel,

So it sounds weird, but I was caught up tonight watching 'Whale Wars'. No, I am not a crazy tree hugger who never shaves my legs because I am want to be 100% natural. Your Uncle Jeff has been into it and he convinced me to watch a few episodes. I thought a lot of things (good and bad), but mostly what I was reminded of is this... Everyone has a cause, a purpose and a passion.

Even though I would never be passionate about fighting Japanese whaling ships, I was reminded of the things in my life that I would dedicate my life fighting for and that I HAVE dedicate my life to. More important than ever before we must all understand our cause, purpose and passion and have the guts to fight for it.

As you grow your opinions and decisions will be different... some I will agree with and some I will not. But no matter what, I want you to always have a cause, purpose and passion. Don't just let life happen to you... You must happen to life!
